Po Lee Chinese Kitchen is my second or first choice when ordering Chinese food takeout. Most of us believe Chinese food takeout is delicious, but some choice dishes could contain high amount of salt, sugar, oil, and processed additives. When I first visited Po Lee, I only ordered won ton and egg drop soup. They were both fabulous, and the wontons in the soup were large and good. I was so impressed, that I am willing to drive the extra few miles to order my next Chinese take out there. Their kitchen is visually clean and the service is welcoming. My healthy choices for Chinese food takeout are Hot & Sour Soup or egg drop. Also steamed dumplings, Moo goo gai pan, Chicken and Broccoli, and Kung Pau Chicken. There are others, but I need a menu in front of me to remember.

My new go to place. I was a loyal Precious customer when first moving from Queens back in 2010. That ended in a few short years, as the quality just didn't seem to be there. I replaced them with Taste of China on Larkfield road after trying many other places. That was old old school take out but very good tasting. They sold out to another family and the taste has changed...Spicy Home Tasty is still a good choice, but for me, other side of town... Po Lee was great and was my first time trying. Seemed to bring back the right taste and quality of Chinese food I lost since moving out to LI. Very good soup, egg rolls... I need to try a bunch of different dishes, but very hopeful and excited again.
